Aegisys is seeking a motivated team player for Help Desk Technician. This position is a great position to experience all things IT and build a career in specialized fields. Candidates with knowledge in the following would be preferred:
Responsibilities:
- Provide Service Desk technical support and installation to users either by phone, email or on-site.
- Provide advanced troubleshooting for all types of technical inquiries, service requests and issues including computers, networks, servers, mobile devices, and applications.
- The ability to work after hours and on weekends where and when required with minimum supervision.
- Complete proper documentation of client programs and setups
- Complete detailed notes and provide excellent communication to clients to keep them informed about service requests.
- The successful candidate must NOT have any criminal record. Enhanced Reliability background checks ARE required.
- A valid G drivers license is required.
- Solid understanding of Microsoft 365, including how to configure, manage, and troubleshoot the various components of the platform, including issues related to Exchange, OneDrive, Teams and SharePoint.
- A positive attitude to work with other team members pro-actively.
- Hands on experience configuring Cisco, Sonicwall, Fortinet, SOPHOS, VMWARE, Hyper V.
- Working with MSP software and ticketing systems.
- Proven hands-on ability to learn quickly and adapt to ever changing demands.
- Understanding of ITIL service model.
- Self motivated and able to work independently.
- Writes detailed tickets and documentation, including user needs, system specifications, observed issues with remediation recommendations.
- Position works directly with customers to deliver assessments, designs, implementation, and on-going support.
- Attention to detail in performing day to day tasks
- Degree or diploma in computer science, information technology or related technology driven field; required.
- Preferred certifications in Network Engineering Certification (CCENT, CCNA Routing and Switching/Wireless, CINS Cisco Industrial Networking Specialist, VCA, VCP, GICSP)
- Preferred certifications in Windows Certification (MCSA, MCSE); any track
- Any other relevant certifications
