VMWare V2V Migration Services
This project addressed a lifecycle replacement of an existing VXRAIL environment to a fresh new VXRAIL environment.
This service was delivered remotely and included the design of the migration plan for up to 30 Virtual Machines (VMs). The service included the data collection and analysis of the client virtualized environment, and creation of the migration plan to the virtual-to-virtual (V2V) migrations with the use of the appropriate toolsets.
Historically, Aegisys deployed the first VXRAIL by performing the migration into new VXRAIL software and hardware from pre-existing End of Life Hardware cluster and VMWARE as a DELL Partner.
This project leveraged DELL Professional services in the design, build and deployment of the new VXRAIL cluster. Every effort to reduce impact to production was reasonably taken resulting in a fantastic end result and a very happy client.
